I first heard this song on the last episode of Gossip Girl. It was during the most intense scene and the song just gave me chills. However, the version in the show was the acoustic version but the album version is just as good. The beginning actually reminds me of the intro to TED videos (If you don’t know what TED is I highly suggest you check it out and be instantly inspired - www.ted.com). His voice sounds so haunted in this song, maybe because the song mentions death, and at one point I feel like I can hear my heartbeat in the song over the xylophone. But when you put that spooky melody with his words, it’s amazing, the song will instantly move something inside of you.
